What does your 21st birthday mean to you?

To me, it felt like that its time for me to grow up.




The week before my 21st birthday was a rather short one.
Well most of the time was spent sleeping.
But I did took some time to reflect on my life so far.

I am thankful to be the person I am today.
To have been places that I have been.
To have the oppurtunities of a lifetime.
To be blessed with a good future.
To have friends whom I can count on always.
To have a great and loving family.
And most importantly, to have known God.

Unknowingly, God has indeed transform me to be someone of worth.
To have faith in Him is something I am proud of for myself.
To have my trust anchored to God's strong hands is my peace.
He has done great things for me.
I can stand and say that He saved me and gave me a new life.
I don't know what I would be like if I had not known Him.
God has brought me from darkness out to be in His light.
Which I am forever grateful.


As I turn 21, I know that my responsibilities are getting heavier.
It is indeed time for me to grow up.
It is time for me to take up my cross, and follow Him even more fervently every day.
If I have one birthday wish, it will be that I will forever be trusting, loving, believing and having faith in God my saviour, my friend and my father in heaven.


Thank You God for creating me and bringing me into this world.
Continue to bring me up, teach me and guide me, to be the person You created me to be.
To be salt and light to this earth.
To be a bearer for Your glorious name.
Amen.
